Are you searching for a non-invasive way to lift your eyelids and open your eyes? The skin and tissues around the eyes can weaken and stretch with age. This causes the upper eyelid skin to sag and possibly even droop into your field of vision. If you have concerns with sagging or drooping upper eyelids but are not ready to consider surgical methods like blepharoplasty, Upneeq may be an ideal option for you.
Upneeq
Non-Surgical Eyelid Lift
Upneeq is a once-daily non-surgical eyelid lift treatment for droopy upper eyelids, also known as acquired ptosis.1 Deep Blue Med Spa is proud to provide patients with Upneeq, the FDA-approved eye drop that can open and lift the upper eyelids, improve your field of vision, and achieve a more youthful and less fatigued appearance.
How Does Upneeq Work?
Upneeq, an oxymetazoline hydrochloride ophthalmic solution, is an eye drop available by prescription only and is used to treat acquired ptosis or low-lying upper eyelids. Upneeq works by temporarily causing tiny muscles inside the upper eyelid to contract, visibly lifting the upper eyelids.
When Upneeq is applied as a once-daily eye drop, the eyelids start to lift in just minutes. Most patients see anywhere from 1-3 millimeters of lift in the position of their upper eyelids. Upneeq’s full effects can be seen in approximately 2 hours and last up to 12 hours.
Upneeq Droopy Eyelid Treatment Results
The results below showcase patients treated with Upneeq in clinical trials. You can see how in the Before image, the upper eyelid position slightly droops over the iris.
In the After image, you can see how the upper eyelid is lifted by several millimeters, and more of the iris is revealed. The eyes appear more open, awake, and youthful—without anesthesia, incisions, or surgical scars.
